A few quick answers.
What do I need to use Beat Switch?
An iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, an active Apple Music subscription, and Beat Switch Pro. Allow Music & Media Library access when asked and enable Sync Library in your device’s Music settings.
Apple Music won’t connect or my playlists are missing.
- Confirm your Apple Music subscription is active and your playlists appear in Apple’s Music app.
- In iOS Settings, find Music and enable Sync Library. On newer iOS versions, Music is under Apps.
- In Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music, check that Beat Switch has access.
- Reopen Beat Switch and try again. If you removed or renamed a playlist, select the current playlist in your segment.
If it still doesn’t work, email us with the error message and your device details.
Will my routine work with the screen locked?
The Apple Music playback path is designed to continue music and timed transitions in the background and while the device is locked. A playback interruption or unavailable music can affect a routine. If transitions stop unexpectedly, send us the steps and any error message so we can investigate.
Why didn’t a playlist switch at the exact time?
If a segment uses flexible song-boundary timing, Beat Switch can wait for the current song to finish near the end of the segment. Open that segment’s transition settings and use exact timing if you want to switch at the configured duration.
How do I restore Beat Switch Pro?
Open Beat Switch’s account or subscription screen and choose Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that originally purchased the subscription. An active subscription or eligible trial unlocks Pro; an expired subscription does not. Your saved set lists remain on your device after Pro expires.
How do I cancel my subscription or request a refund?
In iOS Settings, tap your name → Subscriptions → Beat Switch, then choose the cancellation option. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund decisions. Read Apple’s cancellation instructions or use Apple’s refund request service.
Is Spotify supported?
Spotify is coming soon. The launch version of Beat Switch supports Apple Music.
Where are my set lists stored? Can I delete them?
Your set lists are stored on your device. Delete an individual set list through its Controls, or remove the app to remove local app data. Device backups may retain app data under your backup settings. Beat Switch has no separate account to delete. To request deletion of support correspondence, email support@beatswitch.app. See the privacy policy for details.
